‘Morning Hatha Flow with Rachael M Yoga’
Start your morning with a refreshing energetic flow. The practice will help you to focus your awareness on the breath and to create fluidity in the postures. The class starts with mindfulness engagement of the breath and body, starting slow to create simple but flowing movements to help wake the body up. We will then start to create some warmth in body with a dynamic sequence of sun salutations before moving into standing postures. Closing the practice with focused breath work in seated postures. This class is perfect for all levels who are looking to create focus and awareness in the practice.
From a young age I studied Shotokan martial arts so it was natural for me to fall into yoga later on in life. A lot of my practice has been in Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Last year I spent a year studying my teacher training in Ashtanga and Yin Yoga. My class is a nice mix of Hatha flow and Ashtanga asanas that are broken down a simple and mindful way, to help progress and deepen the practice further.
