Men’s Yoga: A beginners class – Wednesdays 7.15 – 8.15 pm in the Studio
This class will introduce you to yoga and will help you increase flexibility, balance, coordination and strength as well as reducing stress and tension. We will be working through a combination of physical postures, breath work and a short meditation to close the class. I hope the classes will be challenging, relaxing and fun.
I have been practicing yoga for 20yrs and have found the benefits for both mind and body immeasurable. As a trained occupational therapist and systemic psychotherapist I have a longstanding interest in the human experience, both in the practicalities of day to day life and the complexities of our relationships with ourselves, each other and the world around us. The practice of yoga provides a space where we can connect to our bodies, make space in our minds and use this to influence how we function and create balance in our daily lives.
