8-Week Mindfulness-based stress reduction course
Mondays 7 – 9pm
3rd Febuary – 30th March
This course is ideal for anyone who feels stressed, anxious, or out-of-sorts with themselves. Using a range of meditation practices and gentle hatha yoga moves it is a great compliment to any mind body practice.
On this course, with a small group of 8-10 people, you will learn how stress and anxiety works, and develop the skills needed to work with your mind rather than against it. The focus is experiential learning through practice and discussion in pairs and the whole group. We use an opt-in formula with no obligation to speak if you don’t feel like it.
This is not rocket science but it does require commitment and motivation throughout the whole 8 weeks – there is a total of 21-hours teaching time plus your daily home practice.
Your teacher is fully qualified with a masters degree in teaching mindfulness, registered with the UK Teacher’s Network and abides by their Good Practice Guidelines.
Before you make a commitment it is standard practice to have a 30-minute interview to talk through the course and what it entails. Please get in touch to fix a time.
In addition to the 8 weekly sessions there is a silent retreat day (10-4pm) on Sunday 13 October. Please make sure you can make all the dates before arranging an interview.
